The many take-off and landing sites and the wide valley floor of the Zillertal are very popular with paragliders. Zell am Ziller has even hosted the Paragliding World Cup several times due to the perfect conditions. Many flying schools offer tandem flights and training at any time of year.

Seeing the Kaiser Mountains from a bird's eye view is a very special privilege. On days with plenty of thermals, paragliders take off from the Hohe Save, the Choralpe or the Hartkaiser. Flying schools offer tandem flights and enable even inexperienced flyers to enjoy this unique experience.
Cross-country flights to South Tyrol or the Grossglockner
Lienz in East Tyrol is known for its weather stability, good upslope winds and excellent thermals. Experienced paragliders take off from Steinermandl at an altitude of 2,200 metres with a fantastic view of the Dolomites. Flights over 4,000 metres up to South Tyrol or the Grossglockner are also possible.

Flying experiences for young and old
Everyone gets their money's worth around Imst: children from the age of five are taken on tandem flights, while the oldest passengers are over 80 years old. Between 650 and 1,400 metres in altitude are covered, with a thermal flight even up to 2,200 metres.
Cradle of alpine paragliding
Kössen is considered the cradle of alpine paragliding - on the Unterberghorn you will not only find the best thermal conditions, but also an excellent infrastructure. The Kössen flying school offers tandem and solo flights as well as courses, and talking shop in the "Fliegerbar" is of course also part of the programme.
