The water lily pond
This excursion leads through fields, forests and meadows to an idyllic natural setting where you will be greeted by a beautiful water lily pond, the "Seerosenteich". St. George's Church in Obermieming, which is one of the most beautiful religious buildings in Mieming, lies on the edge of the meadow and is another lovely place to stop along the way. If you would like something sweet during your break, it is well worth popping into the Maurer patisserie in Obermieming and treating yourself to one of the delicious cakes.
