Stage 2: Biketrail Tirol: Kitzbühel Alps Round Tour
A varied bike tour on a selected, scenic route through the Kitzbühel Alps. Worthwhile ascents as well as descents on wide gravel paths guarantee a round tour in a class of its own. The right tour for occasional bikers who don't want to sit in the saddle all day and also value an experience off the mountain bike route. Stage 2: Reith im Alpbachtal - Niederau From Reith im Alpbachtal (637m) you cycle along a panoramic side road to Alpbach (974m). In Alpbach leave the asphalt road and take a gravel road. Then follow the road uphill to the Außerkolkaseralm (1653m), the highest point of our tour. Push the bikes for about 200m over a trail to the other side of the ridge and you can already see our descent to Thierbach (1180m). Follow the gravel road downhill to Mühltal (815m). Having reached the small village on the valley floor, simply follow the road across Wildschönau (890m) to Niederau (841m), our stage destination.
