Description

Cosy hut perfect for groups
German Alpine Club, Regensburg Division

While many huts are perched high in the mountains, there is also something uniquely beautiful about a refuge further down in the valley like this one. Equipped with cosy rooms, showers and a kitchen, the Talhütte Zwieselstein is an excellent base for walks and hikes in the area between Sölden and Gurgl at the end of the Ötztal Valley. The hut is perfect for families and groups keen to cater for themselves on holiday. The walks and hikes range from easy to challenging. Further activities near the hut include swimming, wildwater rafting and visits to the spectacular Stuibenwasserfälle waterfalls. Mountain bikers will find plenty of trails in summer, while ski touring enthusiasts and snowshoe walkers can explore the area in spring. The hut offers 35 sleeping places, equally divided between rooms and dormitories.
