Description

Remote mountain refuge in the Rotlechtal Valley
Austrian Alpine Club, Reutte Division

Surrounded by lush meadows and grass-covered peaks, and with an idyllic mountain lake nearby, the Reuttener Hütte enjoys a wonderful location in the Lechtal Alps. It is a self-catering hut ideal for families and groups who don't mind bringing their own food and cooking for themselves. Access is only possible on foot. The hut sleeps up to 28 people and has a wood-burning stove for heating. Water can be drawn from the well outside. There is no electricity, shower or wireless internet, but there is mobile phone reception. Mind you, with a landscape as spectacular as this one you will find yourself scanning the horizon rather than scrolling your social media. There are several relatively easy walk and hikes in the area. Advanced and expert hikers can explore the Reutte High Trail, taking in the peaks of the Steinkarspitzen and Knittelkarspitze mountains.
