Whether it's a stop for a bite to eat or a refreshment stop: the Kölner Haus above Serfaus is a popular meeting place for sports enthusiasts, gourmets and families in summer and winter.
The hospitable Kölner Haus is not located in Cologne, but in the middle of the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis ski area. The easiest way to reach it is from the valley resort of Serfaus. From the Komperdellbahn valley station, you can take the cable car up to the mountain station and directly to the hut. If you prefer to walk, because the food tastes even better then, you can hike for around one and a half hours along a tranquil forest path up around 500 meters in altitude to your destination.

Below the Komperdell mountain station, the Kölner Haus is located in a sunny spot above Serfaus. The easy ascent by gondola has brought the hut a large number of day visitors for decades who want to take a detour into the mountains. The high plateau is also the starting point for challenging hikes to three-thousand-metre peaks such as Furgler and Hexenkopf. The Serfaus, Fiss, Ladis region is particularly popular with families - in summer as a hiking area, in winter as a well-developed ski area. Accordingly, the Kölner Haus is a two-season establishment. Guests appreciate the accommodation for its hut flair and tasty cuisine. With the Hexensee Hut, the Kölner Haus has a high alpine outpost in the Masner region.
