The Franz-Senn-Hütte (2,147 metres) is a well-known Austrian Alpine Club refuge in the Upper Oberbergtal Valley in the Stubai Alps, Tirol.

The Franz Senn Hut in the Upper Oberbergtal Valley in the Stubai Alps has been offering shelter to mountaineers ever since 1885. It was named after the famous Ötztal born “Glacier Priest“ Franz Senn. He was one of the founders of the German Alpine Club and a pioneer of tourism in the Öztal and Stubai Valleys. The Franz Senn Hut is managed today by the Austrian Alpine Association and, with 170 beds, is the largest hut belonging to the Section Innsbruck. Very well equipped, it even offers wireless internet to its guests. The hut landlord is also happy to provide visitors with weather forecasts and information on tours. The internet is also very useful for the many seminars held at the Franz-Senn Hut.
Well known surrounding mountains: Ruderhofspitze, Lisenserspitze, Schafgrübler, Rinnenspitze, Östliche und Westliche Seespitze.
From Neustift in Stubaital (ca. 4.5 hours), or from the Oberiss Alm (ca. 1.5 hours).
