Family-friendly hut for walkers and climbers
German Alpine Club, Darmstadt-Starkenburg Division
This majestic stone house with red-and-white striped shutters provides a welcoming touch of colour in the Moostal Valley in the Arlberg region. Don't worry, it's not only moss that grows here (the name translates as "Moss Valley"), but also lush alpine flora and blooming meadows in summer. The mountain scenery from the sun terrace is glorious. Guests can take a well earned rest at the Darmstädter Hütte. Alterntively, it can be a place of work. A well-equipped conference room is available for meetings and seminars. Screen, slide projector, overhead projector, flip chart and, most importantly, plenty of peace and quiet as well as invigorating alpine air mean there is everything you need for a successful session. The area is also particularly appealing for climbing enthusiasts. Seven rock climbing areas with interesting routes are located in close vicinity to the Darmstädter Hütte.
