The Breslauer Hütte (2,844 metres) is a German Alpine Club mountain refuge hut at the foot of the highest mountain in North Tirol, the 3,768-metre-high Wildspitze in the Ötztal Alps.

This mountain lends dignity to any building, even a mountain refuge hut. At 3,768 metres above sea level, the Wildspitze in the Ötztal Alps is the highest mountain in North Tirol and the “patron saint” so to speak of the Breslauer Hütte. The hut is, in turn, the classic starting point for ascents of the Wildspitze. However, hikers will need excellent mountaineering skills and be well equipped. A mountain guide is recommended. The Breslauer Hütte was inaugurated in 1882 and has been renovated and extended since. Visitors can now enjoy not only lots of room, but also modern sanitary facilities for showering. The beautiful mountains here have a positive effect on the visitors’ mood, and convivial mountain hut evenings are part and parcel of the “high life” of the Alps. Well known surrounding mountains apart from the Wildspitze: Hinterer Brochkogel, Ötztaler Urkund, Wildes Mannle.
