Description

Self-catering hut
Austrian Alpine Club, Kitzbühel Division

Offering wonderful views looking south, the Ackerlhütte is a small hut on the Ackerlsporn mountain in the south-eastern area of the Kaiser Mountains. Nearby peaks include the Regalpspitze, Ackerlspitze and Maukspitze – all popular (and challenging) playgrounds for climbers and mountaineers. The self-catering hut is therefore used by many outdoor enthusiasts as a base for exploring the Wilder Kaiser massif. From June until September there is  a person at the Ackerlhütte on weekends selling drinks (no food served). At all other times, a key must be picked up from the Austrian Alpine Club. There is mobile phone signal at the hut.

How to get to the hut
