Mountain railway Schatzbergbahn

The Schatzbergbahn cable car transports guests from the village of Auffach up onto the Schatzberg mountain, a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. The four-man gondola stops at the mid-way station in Koglmoos before continuing up to the top station at over 1,770 metres above sea level. The area around the top station is home to a network of hiking trails catering for all fitness levels. Huts such as the Schatzbergalm next to the top of the cable car and the Gasthof Koglmoos next to the mid-way station serve traditional Tirolean food.
