Mountain railway Markbachjochbahn

This eight-man gondola leaves from the village of Niederau in the Wildschönau region of Tirol and leads up to the Markbachjoch ridge with its many hiking and walking trails overlooking the Zillertal Alps, the Kitzbühel Alps and the Karwendel Mountains. A number of huts serve traditional local food.
