This cable car transports visitors from Zettersfeld in Lienz up to 1,812 metres above sea level, where a four-man Steinermandl chairlift completes the final leg of the journey to over 2,200 metres. The top of both the cable car and the chairlift are the ideal starting point for walks and hikes. The "Murmeltierweg", an 3km adventure trail all about marmots, is excellent for families and gives children and adults alike the chance to observe these alpine animals at close quarters. There are a number of huts and restaurants in the region serving hearty food and refreshing drinks.
