Mountain railway Almbahn Fiss

Guests can easily ascend with the Fisser Almbahn: 785 vertical meters from the Schöngampalm up to the Zwölferkopf (2,596 meters), the local mountain on the Fisser Joch, in just over six minutes. There are already far-reaching views to enjoy on the way, and even more so from the summit or from the Z1 viewing platform. A circular hike around the Zwölferkopf offers beautiful views down into the rear Urgtal valley and a panorama of the peaks on the main Alpine ridge. In the Almbahn, 17 of the 53 noble black gondolas are animated. During the ride, golden eagles, chamois, bears and mountain hares talk about their sometimes harsh lives in nature. Another attraction: a wooden gondola.
