Long-distance hiking trails in the valley
Tyrol is primarily known for its high alpine long-distance hiking trails. But our route planners can also do things differently. And so there are also long-distance hiking trails that run mostly in the valley or at medium altitude from accommodation to accommodation. These routes connect villages worth seeing, lead through protected natural landscapes or follow historical paths. Sometimes, however, our route builders couldn't hold back and have included detours into the mountains from time to time. But at least the overnight stay remains in the valley. For all those whose favourite place to sleep is not in a mountain hut: not many people know that some of our most beautiful long-distance hiking trails remain in the lower levels of the Tyrolean mountains.
