Eagle Walk stages in the Karwendel
From Lake Achensee to Innsbruck and on to Leutasch: seven Eagle Walk stages lead through the Karwendel, Austria's largest nature park.
Seven stages of the Adlerweg lead through the Karwendel. Firstly, it leads from Pertisau am Achensee into the gently ascending Falzthurntal to the Gramaialm, then through the wonderful landscape of the Ahornboden and on to the Karwendelhaus. The stage from the Karwendelhaus to the Hallangerhaus is the most challenging section in the Karwendel in terms of mountaineering and leads to the 2,749 metre-high Birkkarspitze. The twelfth stage runs along the Goetheweg and ends at the Hafelekar on the Innsbruck Nordkette. After a short detour into the Tux Alps, the 14th stage of the Adlerweg from Innsbruck to the Solsteinhaus takes you back to the Karwendel.
