Description

Daring hikers can explore the Lechweg via a breathtaking pedestrian suspension bridge. However, if you suffer from a fear of heights, you can alternatively explore the Höhenbachtal valley along the original route and hike past the Simms waterfall. Your route takes you along picturesque wooden footbridges through the idyllic Schigge area to Stockach. From here, you walk steadily uphill to the valley station of the Jöchelspitzbahn cable car in the Benglerwald forest. The Lechweg trail continues through the Modertal gorge to Seesumpf and down to Bach. You finally reach Elbigenalp from Bach along the banks of the Lech.
