The Wiedersbergerhorn is not just a place for young hikers to marvel at. Experienced hikers will also be delighted by the extraordinary views, which can be enjoyed in detail on the easy-to-walk circular trail.
The Wiedersbergerhorn in Alpbachtal is known for its superb views. The summit is also known for the large adventure playground at the Wiedersbergerhornbahn mountain station. Both attributes make the mountain a great destination for an easy panoramic hike with the whole family. From the trail, the easy detour to the summit cross is possible from three sides and is almost a must. After the hike, the Lauserland with its numerous attractions awaits the little panoramic hikers.
Take the Wiedersbergerhornbahn up to the top station at 1.811 m. Follow the A40 path to the peak. After you've passed the ski lifts you can circumnavigate the peak in either direction. The views over the surrounding valleys are spectacular.
The undulating route covers approx. 200 m elevation along gentle ascents and descents.
Tip: a detour to the peak is well worth the extra walking time! The views over the Alpbach, Ziller and Inn Valleys and farawa peaks is stupendous. The path up to the peak is easy to negotiate and suitable for families; approx. 1 h from the top station.
Places to get something to eat and drink: Dauerstoaalm, Bergrestaurant Hornboden, Hornalm, H & N Kiosk at the top station
