Mountain hikes Uderns - Schlagalm - Hochfügen (Trail No. 22)

Description

Walk from the Gemeindehaus (village hall)up the valley towards the parish church. Pass the church and carry straight on to the hamlet of Kleinboden. After crossing the Finsingbach (stream) go left uphill and then after a short stretch on the road take the left fork towards Kupfnerberg. Continue on the road past the Oberhaus and Seehüter Alpine cafés as far as Krapfenboden. From there a gravel path runs through the woods as far as the Schlagalm – carry on to the Winkelalm – and then via the Kegelalm to Hochfügen. You can also take the bus to Hochfügen and do the walk in reverse. It is possible to make the return journey from Hochfügen by bus.
