Mountain hikes Uderns - Hamberg (2095m) Trail No. 30

Description

Leave the Gemeindehaus (village hall) and walk a short distance down the valley. After crossing the Finsingbach (stream), turn off to the right to the Ziller Promenade. Keep left at the Ziller Promenade – cross the Schäffstall bridge and then go left towards the Gasthof Almdiele. The trail runs past the Gasthof towards the Schleierwasserfall (bridal veil waterfall). Before the waterfall, the trail branches off towards Hamberg – follow woodland paths and forest trails past the Hamberger Alm (Alpine pasture) as far as the summit of the Hamberg. Take the same route for the return journey. Please be sure to take snacks and drinks with you, as there are no refreshment options on the way to Hamberg.
