Mountain hikes Telfes - Pfarrachalm - Gloatsteig - Schlickeralm

Description

From the centre of Telfes, follow the Lange Gasse to the "Pfarrachalm" car park. Here, follow the gravel road to the first hairpin bend. Now take the shepherd's path that leads steadily and steeply upwards to the Pfarrachalm. After a short rest, the trail descends gently for approx. 500 m just above the alp. The "Gloatsteig" begins in the valley cut below the Halsl and you hike below the Ampfersteine through the Kalkkögel rest area with constant ups and downs and very scenic views to the Schlickeralm. From the Schlickeralm, take the forest path or the Sinneweg trail to the beautifully situated Panoramasee lake. From here the trail leads down through the "Plövenerloch" along the Schlickerbach stream back to the starting point.
