Everyone praises the anticipation. Well, on this long tour to the Nürnberger Hütte, there really is an extraordinary amount to look forward to, long before the refreshment stop is in sight: a widely ramified glacial river, a deep blue glacial lake or one of the largest glaciers in the Stubai Alps, for example.
Long and enduring, but very scenic tour via the Sulzenauhütte, Grünausee and Nürnberger Hütte. Steadily ascending, in between following the WildeWasserWeg through a beautiful valley plain to the Sulzenauhütte with glacier views. Then continue on a stony path up to the Grünausee lake and via the Niederl to the Nürnberger Hütte hut at the foot of the Wilder Freiger.
Vom Parkplatz kann man dem leichten Steig oder dem kinderwagentauglichen Forstweg ins Langetal zur Bsuchalm folgen. Ab hier führt der stetig ansteigende Pfad in Serpentinen durch Grashänge und zuletzt durch einen kleinen Felsabbruch zur Nürnberger Hütte.
