Everyone praises the anticipation. Well, on this long tour to the Nürnberger Hütte, there really is an extraordinary amount to look forward to, long before the refreshment stop is in sight: a widely ramified glacial river, a deep blue glacial lake or one of the largest glaciers in the Stubai Alps, for example.
Long and enduring, but very scenic tour via the Sulzenauhütte, Grünausee and Nürnberger Hütte. Steadily ascending, in between following the WildeWasserWeg through a beautiful valley plain to the Sulzenauhütte with glacier views. Then continue on a stony path up to the Grünausee lake and via the Niederl to the Nürnberger Hütte hut at the foot of the Wilder Freiger.
From the parking lot, you can follow the easy trail or the forest path suitable for baby carriages into the Langetal valley to the Bsuchalm. From here, the steadily ascending path leads in serpentines through grassy slopes and finally through a small rocky outcrop to the Nürnberger Hütte.
