Description

Starting from Stumm municipal office, head out of the valley along the road and across a bridge until you reach the Gasthaus Märzenklamm inn. Here, you should follow a private trail steeply up to Antoniuskapelle chapel before joining the Kreuzweg trail that leads through the forest and up to the small Mölkenkapelle chapel. Once at this chapel, follow the road uphill to the left – you will shortly come to a forestry road and subsequently to a narrow forest path. Head downhill in the direction of Dristal until the route merges with the forest road, then bear right and make your way uphill on Dristalweg road. Take the turn-off for Haselbach/Hart/Uderns at the junction and start off along the forestry road before subsequently completing a steep descent along a forest path. This brings you back to the forest road leading to the district of Haselbach (tip: at the next junction, it is worth making a brief detour to the 91-meter Harter Schleierwasserfall waterfall – you simply need to make a brief ascent on an easy trail to get there). Head past the Gasthaus Almdiele inn, follow the course of the road, and turn left towards Kohlstatt/Stumm. You can then hike along the Ziller river to return to Stumm.

stop off possibilities: Gasthof Almdiele, restaurants in the village
