Mountain hikes Stanzach - Over the suspension bridge

Stanzach /
Difficulty ratings: easy
Route length: 13 km
Duration: 3:15 h

If you have a slight dip on this technically moderate and varied hike, it is probably only due to the 138-metre-long suspension bridge over the fascinating natural river Lech.

Tour character

Nestled between the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps, the Lech meanders its way. You can accompany it for a while on your hike. From Forchach to Stanzach and back again, it is around 12 kilometers on easy, mainly flat paths suitable for baby carriages. The suspension bridge crossing takes a bit of courage, but go ahead, the bridge delivers what it promises!
