Description

Starting from the Olpererhütte, 2.389 m, this stage follows trail No. 502 towards the Unterschrammachkar, 2.280 m. After a brief ascent below the Ameiskopf, 2.400 m, trail No. 528 meanders past the distinct traces of glacier erosion towards the Kastenschneid, then descends below the Stamplkees to reach the Pfitscherjochhaus, 2.276 m.
