Mountain hikes St. Anton - Putzenalpe

St. Christoph am Arlberg /
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 11 km
Duration: 4:00 h

In the Arlberg region, the alpine pastures are not just one, but two storeys higher. You hike to the beautiful Putzen Alpe at 1700 meters. Not so bad, as the starting point is also very high up!

Tour character

In the Arlberg region, alpine hikes also take you into high alpine terrain: The Putzen Alpe, north of St. Anton am Arlberg, lies at 1700 meters in the Lechtal Alps. However, the forest and woodland path starting from Nasserein is in excellent condition and the approx. 560 meters in altitude can easily be mastered with a medium level of fitness. At the end of the hike, you will have eleven kilometers in your legs and perhaps a delicacy in your rucksack, as the Putzen Alpe dairy produces delicious semi-hard and mountain cheese.
