Mountain hikes St. Anton - Galzig Bergstation

Description

From the Galzig valley station west to the roundabout, along the Alte Arlbergstraße, after approx. 200 m turn right to the museum. Follow the hiking trail to the Dengert district, continue in the direction of the Sennhütte. Past this, head west (WunderWanderWeg) to the ventilation shaft of the Arlberg tunnel and then over the gallery of the Arlbergstraße. After the gallery, walk uphill over a steep ridge to the fork with signpost. From here, turn right (trail 16) upwards and over serpentines to the Maiensee lake. Continue in a north-easterly direction to the Galzig mountain station. Take the same path back to the starting point.

Alternative: take the Galzig cable car back to St. Anton.
