Mountain hikes Spring with late crocus blossom in Tux Valley

Description

Take the Tux-Finkenberg shuttle to Tux-Vorderlanersbach. At the village square, go straight on past the Hotel Tuxerhof (no. 80) and the sports shop to the valley station of the Rastkogel cable cars. After the bridge, a narrow path leads along the forest to the hamlet of Gemais, alternatively walk along the mountain road. Past the Rosenkranzkapelle chapel on AV trail no. 321 (forest road), a forest trail leads to the right through the Pfisterwald forest to the Vogelnest (only open in winter). Now head slightly uphill to the right until you reach the access road to the Geislerhof. At the "Olpererblick" holiday home (no. 194), a narrow forest path (path no. 51) leads uphill to the right to the "Lämmerbichl". Stay on trail no. 51, which is now a wide gravel path, until you reach "Heidis Hütte" (only open in winter). Then walk a short distance out of the valley on trail no. 53 and continue on the narrow forest trail no. 61, crossing the "Rötlbach" to the "Schneetal". At the point where trail no. 59 to the Schrofenalm crosses the route, head into the valley on trail no. 59 and then take trail no. 67 through the forest to the Stockbauer. Alternative: Go right into the valley until the trail joins the mountain road to Tux-Vorderlanersbach. Take this back down into the valley to the starting point.

TIP: The most beautiful crocus meadows are next to the Lämmerbichl near Heidi's hut in the Schneetal towards the Schrofenalm. Walk from the Schneetal on trail no. 59 to the Schrofenalm and back again. 
Attention: Trail no. 55, which leads from the Schrofenalm over the Stockbauer into the valley to Tux-Vorderlanersbach, is not yet passable at this time!
