After the snow melts in spring and early summer, the Sintersbach waterfall bubbles over with temperament. The Sintersbach itself also unfolds its natural magic on its way down into the valley.
For a natural beauty like the Sintersbach waterfall, you are happy to put up with a longer climb. The start of this impressive tour is at the Schradlern parking lot in Jochberg at the beginning of the Sintersbach Valley. The waterfall is reached after around an hour, and if you choose the route via the Jochberger Wildalm, it takes another two and a half to three hours.
The tour to Sintersbach waterfall starts from Schradlern car park. Along the path and the scenic valley you can literally feel the force of the water. The hike to the impressive natural jewel - where the cool alpine waters drop more than 85 m into the bowls, takes about an hour and then the route continues to the Jochberger Wildalm mountain hut. After a little refreshment, the hike leads through alpine meadows and along the Drachensteig trail back to the starting point.
