Description

This tour is an easy and beautiful tour that leads partly through groves and over meadows.

From the hiking starting point ‘Going Center' (former Tourist information Going; 764 m) follow the village road (Dorfstraße) along the Going creek to the Raffeisenbank. After the underpass turn right and continue hiking and follow the Pramaweg to the next junction. Here you turn left onto the Thurnbichlweg and follow the path further uphill, with the Wilder Kaiser always in view.

Arrived in district 'Thurnbichl‘, it is time to pause for a moment and admire the beautiful flowers and plants between modern houses and traditional farms. Turn left and follow the path to another district of Going: The ‘Schwendterdörfl’.

This district ‚Schwendt‘ is a sunny spot just outside of Going. There, amidst the farms, you are very close to the Wilder Kaiser. An ideal spot for a holiday photo. A little further uphill, turn left again onto the forest path and follow for a short distance until you reach the small grove. Surrounded by trees, you now walk downhill along this until you reach the Rettweg. Turn right and follow the road to the Blattl chapel.

After a brief look into the 18th century chapel, follow the Rettweg towards Hotel Blattlhof. After the underpass follow the tree-lined Auweg next to the Going creek which leads you back to Going to your starting point.
