Description

This tour starts with the comfortable ascent of the Astberg chair lift. At the top, you walk past past the Pony Alm on the left across meadows and through forests. Via the village part of 'Kathen' you follow a gravel road until you reach the asphalted "Lierstätt junction". At this junction continue right past the Lierstättbauer farm in the direction of the Jezz AlmResort. The jezz AlmResort is the perfect place to sstop for a bite to eat - with fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser. From here you can decide wether to take the easier route via the forest road or back to the Astberg chair lift to station or via the Schwaigerkogel.
