Description

Start the hike in the village centre of Scheffau. First walk along the asphalt road past the church and up to the Leiten district. Follow the signs and forest path no. 41 through the forest to the Gaisberg car park. From there, the route continues for a short distance on tarmac in the direction of Jägerwirt. You pass a beautiful plateau on which the Schießling farms are located. After enjoying the view of the valley, turn right onto a field path to the Jägerwirt. From there, take the hiking trail (no. 814) along the Treffauerbach stream back to Scheffau.
