Description

The cable car takes you to the mountain station at 1.800 m. From there follow the wide forest trail to Ascherhütte. There you can take a break in the lofty heights at 2.256 m and enjoy the local specialities. Then walk over the green alpine meadows down the narrow and beautiful footpath to the Versing Alm.

Return section: the return journey takes you to the Medrigjochbahn mountain station and after that in around 1,5 hours back to the village of See. Alternatively you can take the cable car back down. Please check the operating times of the cable car!

 

Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    With the railway station in Landeck, the Paznaun is optimally connected to the Austrian train network. From Landeck-Zams station, only a short bus ride separates you from the Paznaun. Every half hour, line bus 260 runs from there through the valley. Bus stop: See Dorf/Bergbahn
