Description

Special features: Discovery tour through forests and brooklets, along the front suspension bridge to the Rettenberg ruins.

Directions: You walk on an asphalt road south along the Kuntenweg to the Tuxersteig. Here you go through the forest in the direction of the "Front Suspension Bridge". Pass the Kuntenhäusl and follow the path straight through the forest. A sharp right turn now leads to the path of the "Vordere Hängebrücke". Crossing the Weerbach stream on the suspension bridge is a special fun for children.

Further north uphill the path leads to the Rettenberg ruins. The view over the remains of the ring wall offers a great view of the meadow landscape and the beautiful Inn valley. Back to the starting point, you take the Florian Waldauf Weg, which leads partly through the forest and along the edge of the forest via the turnoff in front of the ruins. After arriving at Gasthof Steixner, you can take a culinary break.
