Mountain hikes Ried - Kühle Quelle (798m) - Ried

Description

Set off from the centre of Ried (church) and head towards Kaltenbach until you reach the Riedbach bridge. Just before reaching the bridge, turn right and onto the trail through the forest – the trail leads to the Riedberg chapel (Riedbergkapelle) along the Kreuzweg (Way of the Cross). Head from there along the trail until you reach the 
junction towards Kühle Quelle. After a short climb, the trail enters the Riedbergstrasse. Turn right when reaching the road – the trail follows the road to Maurach farmhouse (at the end of the road). The trail passes the house and heads toward Kühle Quelle. Once you depart from Kühle Quelle, hike on towards Uderns until you reach the Platzlstall barn. Then keep right and head in the direction of Ried.
