Description

This picturesque circular hike in Reith in Alpbachtal is barrier-free and therefore accessible to all hiking enthusiasts. The tour includes five interesting stations, each located at selected rest benches. At each of these stations, there are self-sufficient pillars that generate electricity by turning to play an audio file. These audio files tell fascinating stories and reports about the history and special features of the region.

The entire route is suitable for strollers and is specially designed to be barrier-free for people with mobility impairments. All stations are designed to provide an experience for every visitor, regardless of their physical abilities. The path is continuously barrier-free, but due to various inclines, it is only recommended with the assistance of a motor (Swiss Trac)!

The installations are all absolutely self-sufficient, inclusive, and interactive. The outdoor listening stations operate by turning a flywheel, moving a lever on a hand pump, or pedaling. The descriptions are also provided in Braille (blind script) on the pillars.
