Pleasant circular path through Juppi Zauberwald (Juppi’s Enchanted Forest) with short hike to reach the peak - ideal for families with young children.
The starting point for this family-friendly hike is in Reith im Alpbachtal. Take the Reitherkogelbahn gondola to the top and follow the signs for Juppi Zauberwald and Reither Kogel". A short uphill path leads through woods to the peak.
The Reith Kogel overlooks the entrance to the Ziller Valley. Despite being a relatively low peak the views are fantastic.
Walk back the way you came and take the R11 - Juppi Zauberwald circular path back to the top station.
