Description

Floating above the clouds. That's what you will feel when you sit at the sun terrace of the Ramolhouse at 3.005 m. It is recommended to stay overnight to enjoy a wonderful sunset as well as sunrise. Tip: After a stay at the Ramolhouse you can continue hiking along the Piccard-Roundtrip. There you will cross the Gurgler Glacier over the 142m long and 100m high Piccard Bridge and go back to Gurgl.

ATTENTION: The hiking path is partialy covered in snow. Only for experienced hikers with the appropriate equipment!


Getting here

  • Arrival by public transport

    Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination.     Parking garage - bottom station Festkogl, chargeable | € 2,00/hour

    Parking Hochgurgl, free of charge (very small parking)
