Bach-Stockach /
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 6.6 km
Duration: 3:00 h

The area between the Jöchelspitze and the Bernhardseck is a wonderful vantage point from which to take in the nearby, elegant Allgäu peaks to the north and the beautifully shaped Lechtal Alps on the other side of the valley. It's your own fault if you walk faster than the specified time.

Tour character

The Lechtal Panorama Trail is a real hiking highlight in the Lechtal Nature Park, the grassy ridge of the Mutte a real panoramic balcony. The hike is of medium difficulty and is pleasant at the start due to the train ascent without any major ups and downs until you reach the Bernhardseckhütte. At the hut, you can take in the view of the Allgäu and Lechtal Alps during a refreshment stop before heading back down into the valley. At the beginning, you have the option of extending the hike by climbing the Jöchelspitze. The golden grassy slopes of the Mutte exude a wonderful sense of tranquillity, especially in autumn.
