Description

The starting point for this extensive tour is the middle station of the Salvista cable car in Itter.
From there, follow the signs to Kleine Salve (no. 70) and hike up the forest path via a few hairpin bends to the mountain station of the Salvista cable car. There, turn off onto trail no. 68 to the Kleine Salve reservoir. Past the reservoir, walk briefly downhill (no. 68) past the Kälbersalvenalpe and back up to the Alpengasthof Rigi (no. 65/67). Continue up via trail no. 65 to the summit of the Hohe Salve. Here, follow the signs no. 90 past the Salvensee lake and the Hohe Salve reservoir towards the Hopfgarten middle station (no. 90/99). At the next fork, continue left towards Itter (No. 65c).
Finally, the route leads through the Salvenwald forest to the KRAFTalm (no. 68, 69) and thus to the starting point, the middle station of the Salvista cable car.
