Today's stage requires glacier experience and appropriate equipment, as we are crossing a glacier today. Basic climbing skills for the Gaislehnscharte are also necessary. At the end of the day, the cozy Amberger Hütte awaits us.
Difficult, challenging stage on black mountain paths. Sure-footedness and high alpine experience for walking on glaciers is required. Orientation for pathless terrain required. Climbing skills for the Gaislehnscharte and a very good level of fitness are required.

Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination.
