Ötztal Trek Stage 20

Längenfeld /
Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 6.4 km
Duration: 3:00 h

Today is a much shorter stage with a walking time of 4 hours. Still tired? Perhaps a short Kneipp cure in the Hauersee will help. Even in midsummer, the water never gets warmer than 4 degrees. But mentally, the sight of water is supposed to have an invigorating effect. Whatever. Off we go towards the Frischmannhütte, our stage destination with the promise of Tyrolean delicacies.

Tour character

Moderately difficult stage. Sure-footedness and alpine experience are required. You have to pass an insured climb in steep, rocky terrain. The descent is also partly via steep paths. A good level of fitness is required.
