Mountain hikes Oberau - Kragenjochkreuz

Difficulty ratings: medium
Route length: 7.9 km
Duration: 3:00 h

This is how we imagine the perfect setting for a summit snack. There are rarely as many beautiful loungers, benches and picnic spots with a view as on the Kragenjoch.

Tour character

Tranquil hike between the Inntal valley and the Wildschönau to an easily accessible summit. The large summit plateau invites you to enjoy a leisurely picnic in the sun with views of the Wilder Kaiser and the mountains of the Wildschönau. However, you can also tackle this tour without food in your rucksack - the Achentalalm (Wildschönau pasta is served on Wednesdays!) and the Loya Stub'n a little off the route are two excellent places to stop for refreshments. Easy paths throughout.
