HUBEN MÜHLE -> Polltalalm -> NIEDERER BREITLEHNKOGEL
The demanding hike starts in Huben / Mühle. At the beginning you cross the small bridge to the left and then take the wide forest road on your right hand side. Follow this road for a few hundred meters until a sidewalk branches off to the right. This leads up grassy through a swathe until you get back on the forest road. Until reaching the Polltalalm (Refreshments) are still some bends to deal with. Behind the pasture follow the path towards Polltal and turn right towards Breitlehnkogel. From here the path climbs steeply over a ridge up to the summit.
Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at
