There is a lot to discover on the Schleierwasserfall nature trail, so take your time for the 6.5-kilometre route. The exploration tour begins in Hart, Haslbach district. The nature trail and bird trail run along the same route and are equipped with many adventure stations and information boards. The Schleier waterfall is also a refreshing highlight. An ideal hike for families with children!
The nature trail invites you to consciously see, hear, smell and feel the amazing natural environment. Listen to the sounds and the voices of the forest. Immerse yourself in the diversity of colours and shapes, smell the scent of the blossoms, earth, resin and musty foliage; use your hands to explore and feel the various secrets of the forest. At 15 sites along the trail, the characteristic features of the local landscape are explained on information boards and at nature experience stations to allow visitors to actively experience the forest environment and its inhabitants.The bird nature trail is set up along the same route as the nature trail and offers an insight into the native birdlife. Who knows and can identify the various species of native birds? Native bird species are presented on 44 information boards. Allow yourself approx. 2 hours time to experience the nature trail and the bird nature trail, which are arranged along the same route. This trail is ideal for families with children. With its impressive 91 m, the Bridal Veil Waterfall at Hart is the highest waterfall in the Zillertal Valley and is the ideal location to take a break and experience the natural spectacle of tonnes of water crashing down on rocks.
