Varied hike from the mountain station of the Gampen lift through dense stone pine forest to the Mutsbühl (2,296 m). The route impresses with its diverse flora and magnificent views of the surrounding peaks such as Wildspitze, Weißkugel and Similaun. Description

The path forks off to the right at the top station of Gampen lift. Steep ascent through the Stone Pine Forest towards Mutsbühl. Among the highlights ranks the truly varied flora. The Mutsbühl area offers splendid panoramic views of majestic Alpine peaks like Wildspitze, Weißkugel and Similaun. Return on the recommended route via Ramolalm. Walkings times: 1,5 h to the  Mutsbühl and 1,5 h from the Mutsbühl via the Ramolalm to Vent.

  • Arrival by public transport

    Enjoy a both comfortable and relaxing train ride to the train station in Ötztal Bahnhof. You get off the train in ÖTZTAL Bahnhof where you change to a public bus or local taxi. The current bus schedule can be found at: http://fahrplan.vvt.at

  • Parking

    The following parking options are available in the mountaineering village Vent

    - In summertime in front of the village (parking machine, only coins or EC card) and at the chairlift (at the ticket office of the mountain railways)

    - In wintertime only at the chairlift

    Cost: € 5,00 per day/car
