Mountain hikes Marienberg church - circular tour

Description

This circular route begins at Fügen tourist information office. Start by heading towards Dorfplatz square, but turn right onto Schulstraße road (signposted) shortly before reaching Dorfplatz itself. Keep to the right after passing the primary school. Make your way along a meadow trail, through a residential area, and along a number of stone steps to reach Marienberg and the church. The circular route then leads along Graf-Fieger-Weg road and brings you to the local recreation area in Fügen. Follow the themed trails as you pass the forest playground and the delightful Romantikpark on your way into the Putzatal valley. The return journey then follows the breathtaking panoramic trail back to Marienbergkirche church. This circular route can be completed in either direction.
