LEKI Cross Trail- Kappl-Ulmich-Niederelbehütte lodge
The tour starts in Kappl at the ‘Ulmich Brücke’ bus stop. Firstly, you cross the road to the hamlet of Ulmich, from where the hiking trail starts. The beautiful route first leads through wooded areas, later along the Alschnerbach stream to well above the tree line. After the Seßgrat ridge, you reach the Niederelbehütte lodge (2,310 m, refreshments available). Continue along the panoramic high-level trail to the mountain station of the Diasbahn cable car (1,830m). There are various places to stop for refreshments here. The cable car takes you back down to the valley.
Tip: Check the opening times of the cable car and buy a ticket in advance if necessary.
Mit dem Bahnhof in Landeck ist das Paznaun bestens an das österreichische Zugnetz angebunden. Vom Bahnhof Landeck-Zams trennt Sie nur noch eine kurze Busfahrt vom Paznaun. Halbstündlich verkehrt von dort der Linienbus 260 durchs Tal. Haltestelle: Kappl Ulmich Brücke
