Mountain hikes Legalalm - Kapaunsalm start at Gasthof Talblick (Weg Nr. 43)

Description

On the bend below the Talblick snack station, you must cross a bridge and then hike uphill along the forest road that cuts through the Alpine pasture terrain. A signpost marks the entry to a path that ascends somewhat more steeply through the forest and ultimately joins a forest road. Cross this road and hike on across another short section of woodland before the trail merges with a forest road once again. Hike along this to the right until you reach the Legalalm/Rosenalm fork. From there, head left on a slightly steeper ascent into the forest that leads across Alpine pasture terrain and past a small moor lake en route to the Legalalm hut. The return journey takes you past the Kapaunsalm: The forestry road is almost entirely level through to this point, after which it descends through Alpine pasture terrain and woodland to reach the Stummerberg/Talblick junction. Turn left in the direction of Talblick and follow the forest road as it heads across Alpine pasture terrain and ultimately back into the forest. The final section of the trail features a descent along a number of hairpin bends on the right-hand side of a stream and through the forest until you reach the bridge. Keep right and follow the road back to the snack station.
