Mountain hikes Lechtaler Höhenweg: 6th stage: Württemberger Haus-Steinseehütte-Hanauer Hütte

Imst /
Difficulty ratings: difficult
Route length: 9.7 km
Duration: 6:30 h

The penultimate stage - if we take all the detours and variants - is on the agenda today and once again demands all our skills and stamina. The route is worth it, not only because of the many fantastic views and vistas, but also because of the Muttekopfhütte. Dream terrace, dream sunset and the food ... fantastic.

Tour character

Difficult stage on black mountain paths. Alpine experience, sure-footedness and concentration are required. Steep climbs and scree slopes on the ascent and descent must be negotiated. Very good physical condition required.

Description

The nearby Gebäudjoch is soon reached. A view to the east reveals the Steinseehütte in the distance, which is only reached after a total of 4 hours of walking. The trail always remains on the southern slope of the main ridge. After overcoming the Roßkarschartl, the route descends comfortably to your destination.
